BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH, HUNTINGTON BEACH.
8AM START.   7:30am HAWAIIAN Dance.  Warm ups. Pre race party.

Stick around and enjoy a lunch and Mimosas at SEA LEGS, a new beach café adjacent to the race.

THE COURSE:
TIKI BEACH RACE COURSE filled with ISLAND THEME.  Flat, Fast course for avid runners.  Perfect for the back of the pack walkers and strollers welcome!

AWARDS: There are “In It To Win It” age categories 3 deep with 5 year age spans:
1-6, 7-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-over.

Virtual Run/PRE RACE PACKET PICK UP: Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Road Runner SPORTS  1845 Newport Blvd , Costa Mesa 92627  from only noon to 3pm.

Participants will be able to come redeem their event t shirt and race bib  (and finisher medal if unable to attend  Sunday’s event.)

We look forward to a BEACH PARTY with you all. ENJOY our Polynesian music, tiki lamps, professionally CHIPPED TIMED event with mile markers.  Water is at the turn around and water and refreshments at the finish.  GRASS SKIRTS available at packet pick up for those that want to DRESS the THEME.

PARKING at BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH is $15.  You may wish to car pool..To enter into BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH  go in the main g ate on PCH and drive furthest EAST to the very last parking lot. T he race is staged in view of that famous  Jack In the Box on the corner of Warner and PCH.  If you prefer to not pay parking, there is a parking  lot where the SuperMex and the gas station are located on the corner of Warner and PCH.  You can walk in to the race staging area from there.

NOTE:  If you are unable to make the SUNDAY TIKI BEACH 5K run at 8am, you can STILL be a part as a virtual runner.  Come pick up your shirt and medal Saturday at A RUNNER’s HIGH then run a 5k distance on the beach path of your choice. We will have maps and suggestions. (  You must understand that you are running on your own accord and not with an organized run.  You are liable for your own safety and  welfare and not covered by the event if you choose to virtually run)

Send your virtual 5K time to carenfasttrack@aol.com with Virtual in the subject time by 5pm on Saturday and  be a part of the age division stats for the TIKI BEACH 5k on SUNDAY.

SAME GREAT BEACH FEST PARTY. 

SAME great beach fest party race, just new location. Polynesian festival is still occurring in  BELMONT SHORES in LONG BEACH on both Saturday and Sunday beginning and 10am – FREE to public.  Remember to pay parking meters where posted.

NOTE:

The  LONG BEACH Polynesian festival takes place both Saturday and Sunday at Belmont Shores and can be enjoyed for FREE both days beginning at 10am.   Remember to pay the beach parking meter to avoid a parking ticket when in Long Beach.

2017/2018 events proceed from Caren Ware Events going toward Miss Pam’s Ranch wheelchair accessibility project and Ware in the World Foundations finding of local and international life-enhancing fitness opportunities.
